আমি কবি বেখেয়ালি বোহিমিয়ান

সাবাই যেমন যুগ-বিয়োগের হিসাব মেনেই চালায় জীবন,
আমি তো ভাই নই যে এমন!
আমি কবি; কেমন জানি বেখেয়ালি, বোহিমিয়ান
হঠাৎ কেমন মেঘ বিলাসী
পরক্ষণেই রোদের কাঙ্গাল, রোদ পোহাতে ব্যস্ত থাকি
সুখের ভেতর বিষণ্ণতার স্বপ্ন আঁখি
মেঘের বুকে আকাশ নীলে বিষাদের সেই বীজ বুনে যাই
মাঝে মাঝেই আমি কেমন বিরহী মন একলা সাজাই।।

যদিও আমার সবই আছে!
চাঁদের পরী, ঘর ভরা সব প্রজাপতি,
মাঝে মাঝে তবু আমি বেখেয়ালি
ঘরের লক্ষ্মী পায়ে ঠেলি
অলীক প্রেমে গাঁজার নেশায় বুঁদ হয়ে যাই;
জীবন সে তো নদীর মতোই দিক চিনে কি চলে রে ভাই?
আমিও তেমন মাঝে মাঝেই মাতাল সাজি
পথ ছেড়ে বিপথে যাই দিক হারাই নৌকার মাঝি।।

এইতো জীবন, আমার জীবন!
উদাস কবি, বন্য পাখি
আমি কি আর যোগ-বিয়োগের হিসাব রাখি?
কাজ ছেড়ে সেই অকাজেতেই বেশী আমি ব্যস্ত থাকি।।
